The Air Max 96 II upper forgoes the tonal "Black" arrangement of the hybrid model's inaugural ensemble in favor of a greyscale makeup. Breathable bases indulge in a "Wolf Grey" tone while mixed-materials overlays throughout boast shades of "White," "Dark Grey" and "Anthracite." Underfoot, Nike Sportswear's experimental proposition features a robust sole unit, which nods to the Air Max Plus lineage while moving VaporMax cushioning into the future. Most of the supportive structure between the upper and the outsole sports a pristine scheme, while the reworked pod-like technology favors a smokey aesthetic.
